Kefir and Coconut Water - a perfect combination... Kefir means 'feel good" in Turkish. It's an ancient cultured, enzyme-rich food filled with friendly micro-organisms. When added to coconut water, Kefir's tart and refreshing flavour is similar to a drinking-style yogurt, and it contains friendly 'probiotic' bacteria. To create your own wonderful fizzy, sour, champagne-like drink, teaming with beneficial microflora, simply add a packet of Kefir Starter to coconut water and leave to ferment in a glass preserve jar. You can then do this time and again by saving some to start the next batch. Kefir contains many nutrients, including Vitamins A, D, K, B2 and B12, plus the minerals calcium and magnesium, amino acids and enzymes.
Contains 6 Packets. Preparation: Use one packet per litre of coconut water and leave to ferment in a glass preserve jar. A small amount saved from each batch can be used to make a new batch and so on, up to seven times.
